The world of accessories was nothing to the dynamic sister team behind Toronto based Curéous Designs. Being introduced to the industry at a young age, it was only fitting that the girls end up where they are today…making fun and affordable sterling silver jewellery!
Using their fashion training background, these sisters began creating pieces to
accessorize their own outfits, experimenting with semi-precious stones, glass,
leather and even wood. With growing popularity among friends and co-workers,
Shannon and Tanya soon realized the need for fun, fresh designs in silver
jewellery.
In 2003, Shannon and Tanya created their own lines, SVC Designs and Silver Candy. Keeping true to their individuality, Tanya focused on bright colours and bold shapes while Shannon focused of fun, flirty styles. All the while allowing their sophisticated, playful energy to come through in each piece they created.
With great demand for both looks and their client bases expanding, the sisters soon came to realize: why not join forces! Cureous Designs was born in 2004, and quickly became synonymous with affordable style, quality and originality!
