1. The Booth Space

Williams Event Services is our official service provider to rent any clothing racks, change rooms, tables or chairs that you may need. This equipment order form is included with the downloadable forms on the Exhibitor Page.  

Electrical services are ordered through the Direct Energy Centre's Exhibitor Services Department. You may also order telephone lines and lighting fixtures. These forms can be obtained from the Exhibitor page in a downloadable pdf format. Alternatively, you may order these services online by visiting the Direct Energy Centre website at http://www.directenergycentre.com , and click the Exhibitor Services button on the home page.

2. Loading In and Out

Load in will take place the Friday of the show. You will receive information regarding your load in hours in the mail. Load in times depend upon where your booth is within the show.

Exhibitor parking is available in the adjacent lot at a rate of $7.00 per day if you pre-order your parking pass. This must be done in advance in order to receive this rate as well as allow you to have come and go privileges. If you do not purchase parking in advance, you will be charged the public parking rate.

Load out begins once all public have vacated the building on Sunday evening. Vehicles will not be allowed into the building until all public have vacated (please allow at least 1 hour)

Marshalling and security personnel will open the loading doors and assist vehicles through the building. All merchandise must be removed by 11:59 p.m.

If there is any unwanted merchandise that you will not be taking with you, please bring it to the show office so that it can be donated to our local charities.

3. Interac or Cash?

Most exhibitors accept only cash at the show. There are six bank machines within the Queen Elizabeth Building for the public, providing easy access to funds. If you are interested in using the Interac system or merchant terminals, you should contact the Direct Energy Exhibitor Services Department for electrical and telephone line installation. Alternatively, you may now rent a cellular Interac system from the Direct Energy Centre Business Services.

The Direct Energy Centre Business Services, located in the Direct Energy Centre atrium can help you with services such as photocopying, supplies and change.

4. Security

Security coverage is constantly maintained throughout the building from load in on Friday until load out on Sunday evening.  It is recommended that you drape your clothing racks and tables in your booth to assist our security.

You must have your wristbands to be admitted into the building on showdays. If you do not have your wristbands with you when you arrive, you will be charged a $5.00 fee per replacement wristband.
